Q Introduction A lot of us in the humanities grow weary of defending our discipline, but too often we have colleagues in other disciplines who do not understand what the humanities are and why they are important. Using what you have learned this semester, this assignment allows you to think about building bridges. Activity Instructions Imagine you are part of the humanities faculty at a university and you have been asked to write a letter explaining the importance of integrating the humanities with the various STEM (and business) disciplines. Include ideas for how the humanities faculty could work together with other faculty across the university.
